Having never backpacked (or hitchhiked) ((or lived without money)) before, it took awhile for me to figure out what all I needed to spend my summer Traveling on Kindness. I did some research on backpacking and hitchhiking gear, and used some of my own knowledge of things I personally find important, and came together with my gear. There are a few items that are probably unnecessary, but all of my friends know that I always come prepared and if anyone will have it, I will. It’ll be interesting to see what my gear looks like at the end of the summer.
So here we go, a list of my gear:
- Osprey Ariel 65 hiking pack (for $30!!!)
- Eureka Solitaire tent
- Eureka Silver City 30 degree sleeping bag
